Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German film and television actress best known for her performances in movies such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. As the only children of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra entered the world of show business early, and ended up playing lead roles in different shows on television by the time she was sixteen. She was praised for her portrayal on Der Tunnel. This paved the way for other unforgettable performances, like Adolf Hitler's secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are two other Oscar nominees featuring models. Alexandra has been involved in numerous notable national and international projects throughout her career. This includes the British biographical Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and French historical miniseries Napoleon and many more. She also remained member of the jury of the Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
